"Naima", Kenai Naima by Cool Run.

At six months of age, "Naima" joined our family at Cool-Run from the Kenai Kennels
of John and Michelle Rowton, Corbett, Oregon. We look forward to a wonderful future
with this beautiful puppy girl. "Naima" will be making her ring debut at selected shows
this Fall/Winter 2000.

First show out Naima, at 6 months of age, wins 2^nd best overall at the Judgeathon
over 54 other puppies.  The Judgeathon was held by the Central New Jersey
Borzoi Club in Nov. 2000.  The three Judges were: Mr. Robert Brong, Deborah Carsillo,
and AKC Judge Lisa Warren.

April/May 1999

We had our puppy show debut at Potomac Supported entry at Old Dominion and Borzoi Club of Greater New York Independent Specialty and Borzoi Club of Delaware Valley Specialty Show at Trenton Kennel Club in April and May 1999, and had a glorious time!   "Amara" and "Kody" were in the ribbons in all shows and behaved (most of the time!). Amara was in contention for Best in Sweeps at BCDV!

All in all, a wonderful time was had by all, and we are very proud of our young Cool Run Hounds!!!

November 1999, Kiowa was Winners Dog at the Philadelphia Kennel Club-Bench show
under Judge Constance Barton.

December 4, 1999, Kiowa was Winners Dog
at Boardwalk Kennel Club in Atlantic City, NJ, under judge Mr. Ralph DelDeo.

January 11, 2000, Kiowa was Winners Dog and Best of Winners in Deland, Florida, at the Jacksonville Kennel Club,
under Judge Daniel Smythe.

Kiowa now only needs 2 Majors to finish.

Again, heading for the Majors in 2000!!!

October 15, 1999, we are pleased to announce that "Kody" and "Amara", won their 9-12 Puppy Classes under respected Judge Richard Meen, Kishniga, Borzoi Club of Greater New York Specialty Show, Valley Cottage, New York.

October 14, 2000, Winners Bitch at Palisades KC, Jersey City, NJ;
Judge: Daniel Smythetook. We took the Summer 2000 off from showing and
this was Amara's first outing this Fall 2000.

Amara is now pointed!  Lumberton Kennel Club under Judge Mr. Roy Holloway (professional handler).  Amara took Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex over the 2 Champion bitches!  I was very proud of her; she showed like a pro!

October 1999, "Kody" and "Amara" both won their classes, with some fine competition, at the Triathlon Match of the Borzoi Club of Delaware Valley's Borzoi Triathlon, at Fort Dix, New Jersey.

October 23, 1999, "Kody" was Winners Dog at the Camden County Kennel Club, New Jersey, and is now pointed at the tender age of one!

October 24, 1999, "Kody" went Reserve Winners Dog at the South Jersey Kennel Club Show.  Lorraine and Dave Thomas, Kody's owners, are thrilled as am I, his co-owner.

September 1999, "Kody" won the Puppy Hound Group at Harrisburg Kennel Club Match, Pennsylvania.
